Our Animals and Land
We raise our animals the way we believe they’re meant to be. On pasture, with space to move, and without unnecessary intervention. There are no antibiotics, no hormones, and no growth implants. Cattle and sheep live their lives on open pastures, only crossing concrete as they’re led to fresh grass on the other side. Every calf or lamb is born naturally, staying with their mothers until separation happens on its own. Nothing is forced or rushed here, rather part of a natural cycle. What we grow feeds the animals, and what they give back goes right back into the land.
The land here is something we tend to, season after season. The work doesn’t slow down, but the way we do it stays steady and honest. Our pastures are made up of a mix of natural grasses like brome, orchard, fescue, and alfalfa, planted on certified organic soil that’s never chemically sprayed or fertilized.
